Q. How do I sync my new 2.4GHZ wireless car mouse?
A. Our 2.4GHZ Wireless mice are plug-and-play! Just plug in the USB, when it’s recognized by your computer tap the little round button on the bottom of the mouse and it will sync up.

Q. How do I sync my new 27MHZ wireless car mouse?
A. Insert the USB receiver supplied into an open USB port on your desktop or laptop and a steady green light will appear on top. Push the button on top of the receiver and the green light will begin to blink. Now, hold the Road Mice™ close to the USB receiver and tap the small round button located on the bottom of the car. The green light on the receiver should start to flash extremely rapidly. Your mouse is now functioning. Please note that if you hold down on the sync button it shuts down the mouse. If that happens simply restart the sync process from the beginning.

Q. Can I use my 2.4GHZ wireless car mouse with my wireless key board?
A. Absolutely!

Q. Can I use my 27MHZ wireless car mouse with my wireless key board?
A. In most cases, yes. However, sometimes the keyboard can create interference. We suggest that you remove the wireless keyboard and existing mouse first, install your new car mouse, then reinstall your wireless keyboard in an open USB port.

Q. How long should my batteries last?
A. Battery life depends on how much you use your Road Mice™. Usually batteries will last up to three months. Using certain features on the car mouse, such as the head lights can drain the batteries more quickly. An on/off switch on the bottom of the car controls the headlight feature to help save battery life. In addition, Road Mice™ features a built-in sleep mode that will turn off the mouse automatically when its not in use. You can easily re-activate your mouse by pushing down on your left or right clicker button.

Q. What is the effective range for my 2.4MHZ my mouse?
A. The range of the 2.4GHZ Car Mouse is highly dependent on the situation, but it most cases it should work easily up to 1.9 M, (6ft).

Q. What is the effective range for 27MHZ my mouse?
A. The range of the 27MHZ Car Mouse is less situational, but a little shorter. They’ll function at 1.5 M (4.9ft).

Q. Sometimes my Road Mice™ cursor is jittery and moves on its own.
A. As with all wireless optical mice, the surface on which you are using your mouse plays a key role in its effectiveness. For example, using a wireless optical mouse on a shiny, glass, reflective or uneven surface can cause your mouse to act erratically. We encourage using a mouse pad for best results.

Q. My headlights on my 27MHZ Mouse only work when I push the left or right buttons.
A. This is correct; the lights are a feature designed to enhance your wireless mouse and having the lights on continuously would run down your battery extremely quickly. Road Mice™ manufactures a wired model that is powered directly from your computer in which the lights remain lit all of the time.

Q. My headlights on my 2.4GHZ Mouse stays on constantly.
A. Once again, this is correct. The 2.4GHZ mouse represents a slightly different aesthetic, and is slightly more energy efficient, allowing us to have the headlights stay on.

Q. Does my new car mouse work with all operating systems?
A. Yes, both our models of mouse work with both Mac and PC operating systems. In older operating systems such as Windows 95 and below you may have to re-boot your computer with the receiver plugged in.

Q. I have tried everything and I still can’t get my mouse to work.
A. In this case, you might simply replace the batteries. We supply a starter set of batteries with every unit purchased and in most cases they work quite well. However, we suggest you install your own batteries once the batteries supplied are exhausted. If you still have a problem please e-mail info@roadmice.com and we will get you in touch with our warranty department. Make sure to include your name, number, shipping address, as well as the model/color of your Road Mouse.

Q. How do I get my title and registration for my car mouse?
A. Each mouse comes with a registration card inside the package. Send the completed card to the address printed on it and we will forward your title and registration. Alternately, you can go to www.roadmice.com and complete the on-line registration, which is located under “title and warranty,” and print out your title at home.

Q. I have not received my order/purchase.
A. You should have received a tracking number automatically when you made your purchase. If you are unable to track your shipment online, please contact us at Info@roadmice.com. Please include your order number, name, phone/e-mail, and shipping address in your e-mail.

Q. I would like to become a reseller.

Q. I have a promotional coupon code and it doesn’t work.
A. Our promotional codes have expiration dates. If you enter the code after the expiration date it will not work. If your code is current and still does not work, please e-mail us at Info@roadmice.com.
